Abstract:
This Pocket Card addresses geriatric assessment based on the Domains of Geriatric Assessment (social, functional, geriatric syndromes, and cognition and affect) and the "BIG 10" Principles. This simple Pocket Card gives recommendations of how to assess as well as further assessments for positive screens.
Educational objectives:
To understand the appropriate screening techniques to assess an older adult for specific social and functional categories, for the unique geriatric syndromes, and for cognition and affect.
