To test a medical student or resident's ability to:

  1. Take a focused history for a geriatric patient presenting following a fall
  2. Perform a problem focused physical exam
  3. Establish a differential diagnosis and initial workup
Additional information/Special implementation requirements or guidelines: 

Necessity of training the SP using the script and how to use the checklist to assess residents/students. Use of an examination room with blood pressure cuff. Use of video camera if desired.
