Learners will be able to identify normal pathophysiology that contributes to increased morbidity and mortality from anesthesia and surgery, high-risk surgeries, and common complications from anesthesia and surgery.

This talk has been given in different forms to over 100 individuals in Grand Round settings. Limitations may include a lack of background information on the subject that could make slides more complicated to interpret.
